This yellow colored fluid is called as bilirubin, which is passed out from the body in the form of color of stools and urine. But sometimes the liver and kidney are not working in a proper condition and the bilirubin is not excreted from the body and it remains in your blood which causes jaundice.

Jaundice is common in new born babies as their liver takes time to start functioning properly. Some of the important signs and symptoms of jaundice are yellow discoloration of the skin and conjunctiva, profound weakness, pain on the right side of the abdomen.

You can take care of your home by following some of the home remedies for Jaundice is given below:

· Take some papaya leaves and grind them in to a paste. Add one tablespoon of honey to this paste. Take this mixture or paste for two week and it will help you to treat jaundice at your home.

· Make a paste of tulsi leaves. Add half glass of freshly prepared radish juice to the paste and take it daily for two weeks to treat jaundice.

· Vitamin C is very useful for the jaundice patient. So it is recommended to give foods rich in Vitamin C to the jaundice patients such as amla, orange, lemon juice etc.

· Sugarcane juice is also an effective product for jaundice patients. Give sugarcane juice at least two times a day. This is act very fast in treating jaundice.

· Take a glass of warm water. Put a pinch of turmeric in it and give it to the jaundice patient 3-4 times a day.

· Take some lemon leaves and boil it in a cup of water. Keep it to get cool. Then drink it and take it for 3-4 times in a day.
