The most signs of this disease are black blue spots on the some parts of the body, anemia, depression, bleeding gums, weakness, irritation, weight loss, thin hair, body pain, arthritis, loss of appetite, enlarged joints, swelling in the legs and failure of weight gain and so on.

The most common and effective way to get rid from scurvy is to take the lemon juice by adding honey in it. Take a glass of warm water and squeeze the lemon and add honey in it. Consume this water twice a day. It is very beneficial in treating scurvy.
You can also eat the Indian gooseberry regular. It is also very effective in treating scurvy, it is important to consume at least four fruits in a day.
You can also consume the one glass of milk by adding the powder of Indian gooseberry and sugar. Consume this milk on regular basis before go to sleep.
It is also essential to consume the diet that is highly rich in vitamin C like oranges, sweet lemons, watermelons, green leafy vegetables, tomatoes and grapefruits.
You can also drink a glass of water by adding powder of raw mango. It is also very beneficial in treating scurvy.
