Morning Sickness

Pregnant woman with strong pain of stomach and nauseaMorning sickness is nausea and vomiting which occurs during pregnancy. About 60-80% pregnant women are affected by this condition. As the problem occurs at the day time so as it is called morning sickness. It is most common in the first trimester of pregnancy but in some cases it lasts till last trimesters.

Ginger– You can drink ginger tea at the morning as it is wonderful home remedy for morning sickness. You can also prepare snacks with ginger. For preparation of ginger tea you have to take ½ tablespoon of ginger powder and add this in a cup of boiling water. Cover the mixture with lid and leave it over low flame for 10 more minutes. Strain and add honey if you like to make it sweet. Don’t drink this more than 3 times a day. You can also try ginger candy.

Graze– Grazing is a must for the pregnant women. One should eat small but frequent meals. You can eat 5 to 6 small meals in spite of eating 3 big meals. For pregnant lady, sometimes nausea occurs because of hunger pangs as stomach acids have nothing to digest or no food, so they started harming body.

Food– You should chew your food thoroughly. You should not stay hungry as you can put carry fruit, cheese and crackers around with you. The snack you eat at night should rich in protein. You can eat a diet high in carbohydrates and protein, low in fats. Salty and crunchy foods can also be taken.

Mint Juice– You can take a tablespoon of mint juice and add 1 tablespoon of honey in it. Also, add 1 tablespoon of lime juice and drink this 3-4 times a day. This is one of the effective home remedies for morning sickness.

Wheat Germ– Take some wheat germ and dissolve it in warm milk. You can take 2 tablespoons of this decoction after every hour. This is an effective home remedy for morning sickness.

Lavender Oil– Take 3 drops of lavender essential oil and add 1 drop of peppermint in a diffuser and use it as scent. This is one of the best morning sickness treatments.

Carbohydrates Food– A food rich in carbohydrates is the best option for the pregnant women.

Curry Leaves– Take 20-25 curry leaves and extract juice from them. Put 2 tablespoons of limejuice along with 1 tablespoon honey in it. Mix the all well. You can take this mixture 3-4 times a day as it is wonderful home remedy for morning sickness.
