BlackheadsA blackhead is a skin problem by which a huge number of persons are affected. It generally targets the young generation. It can appear at any of the body part as on face, arms, back or on chests. When the secretion of oil expands and make the pores thicken. Then the oil collects in the pores and blocks them. It also develops in a swelling. Since the pores are open but the tip of the blocked grease is exposed to atmospheric air and other oxidizes and thus is turns to black. Hence, blackheads are formed.

Home Remedies for Blackheads

Oatmeal– Take some oatmeal and soak it in water. After some time grind it to make a fine paste. Now, apply this paste over the blackheads affected area. You can also choose the oatmeal powder and add some rose water in it. Mix it well to make a fine paste. Apply over face or other blackheads affected parts of the body. Leave it as it is for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water. It is a wonderful home remedy for blackheads. You can also replace oatmeal with almond for better results.

Boric Powder– Take 1 and ½ cups of hot water and add about ½ tablespoon boric powder in it. You can use this mixture as a face pack. It is an effective home remedy for blackheads.

Limejuice– Take some fresh limejuice and add some ground drumstick pods and leaves too. It plays a wonderful treatment for blackheads.

Honey– Take some honey and warm it a little. Now, apply some over the blackheads affected areas and wash after some time as it is an effective home remedy for blackheads.

Radish Seeds– Take some ground radish seeds and adds some water in it. Now, grind the mixture to make a fine paste. Apply the paste over the area for 15 minutes. Wash it well. It is a good way to remove blackheads.

Groundnut Oil– In a tablespoon of groundnut oil, add a tablespoon of limejuice. You can apply this mixture over the face and neck as prevents the formation of blackheads and pimples.

Holy Basil (Tulsi) – Take 10-15 basil leaves and boil them in a cup of water. You can steep it for 10-20 minutes. Leave it for some time to make it cool. Now, apply this water with the help of cotton ball to the acne and other areas having blackheads. It is an effective herbal remedy for blackheads.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek Leaves (Methi) – Take some leave of fenugreek and prepare paste with them. Apply the paste over face and leave it for about 10-15minutes. Wash the face with warm water at the end. You can try this on daily basis every night. It is a good way to get rid of not only blackheads but also other skin problems like acnes. One of the good home remedies for blackheads.

Salty Water– Take 2 mugs of water and add 2 teaspoon of salt in it. Warm the water and wash your face with the water at least two times a day. It helps to make oil free and thus helps to get rid of blackheads. One of the best home remedies for blackheads.

Mint Juice– Take fresh mint leaves and extract juice from it. Apply it over your face every night as it is the best treatment for acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.

Strawberry– Take some fresh strawberry leaves and put them over your face. The alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling caused by acne and blackheads.

Garlic– Take some garlic cloves, now crush them and apply all over your face. You can redo this 1-2 times a day. It is one of the finest home remedy for blackheads.
